Yes, We Actually Bring People Through Your Door

Your sidewalk sign does its job, but it can't yell across town. ZipThrifter can. Every listing you publish becomes a tiny digital billboard — surfacing to shoppers hunting at midnight, on their lunch break, or three states over while planning their next road trip. Whether you sell mid-century furniture, designer consignment, vintage jewelry, antique china, or just plain amazing thrift finds, we surface it to the people already searching for it.

And here's the kicker: every online sale is a walk-in.The shopper drives to your shop to pick up their treasure — and once they're inside, they wander, they browse, they grab three more things on their way to the counter. You wanted foot traffic? You just got it, gift-wrapped. 🎁

Discovery on Tap

Shoppers find your shop by zip, city, state, vibe (“mid-century,” “disco era,” “Y2K”), category, or just by typing “Stickley dresser” or “denim jacket.” The search engine knows synonyms, so a kid searching “sneakers” lands on your listing called “Air Trainers” just as easily as a collector searching “art deco lamp” lands on your “1920s pink glass torchière.”

Favorite Button

Shoppers can ❤️ your shop and it floats to the top of their list. The good news? They'll check back. Often. Like ex-checking-your-Instagram often.

Free Marketing from Creators

The Hype Rack is creators making real videos of their resale finds — thrift hauls, antique gems, vintage looks — and tagging the shop where they found stuff. Every video featuring your shop is a 30-second ad you didn't pay for, run by someone with way more TikTok skills than you. 📼

Locals Who Hate Big-Box

Our shoppers came here on purpose. They could've bought something brand-new from a warehouse in Ohio. Instead, they want your weird one-of-a-kind cardigan with the rhinestone moose, that gorgeous walnut sideboard, or grandma's exact china pattern. They've already self-selected. 🫶

One Item or One Thousand — Same Stage

List one bedazzled lamp or one antique Tiffany silver? It shows up in every search that matches, on the home page, on the locations grid, and on your shop's detail page. List one thousand items? Same machinery, just turned up to eleven. There's no “minimum inventory” bouncer at the door — every listing pulls its weight.

TL;DR: list stuff → people see it → they show up at your store → you sell things → they tell their friends → repeat. The thrift gods are watching. 🪩

It's Free (Pinky Promise)

Joining ZipThrifter is totally free — no monthly fees, no setup costs, no “gotcha” subscription hiding in the fine print. We only make money when you make money.

The Only Cost

Every time an item sells, we take a flat $0.75 + 15% of the sale price. That's it.

Example: sell a $20 denim jacket → fee is $3.75 → you keep $16.25. Or a $300 antique mirror → fee is $45.75 → you keep $254.25. Math that even a pre-coffee morning can handle. ☕

Snap a Photo, Done

Point your phone at an item, snap a photo, and the listing basically builds itself — title, description, and a suggested price all appear. Tweak anything you want, then hit publish. Listing an item takes about 10 seconds.

Sharpie? POS? Both Welcome.

Whether you have a fancy point-of-sale system or your pricing is written in Sharpie on a piece of masking tape, we can accommodate! ZipThrifter works with however you already run your shop.

Be Honest About Condition

Note any rips, tears, stains, or quirks. Shoppers love a “perfectly worn-in” vibe — they do not love surprises. Clear condition notes = happy customers = fewer headaches.

Pics Sell Stuff

One photo gets you live, but 3 photos + a short video sell items way faster. Show it off!

Make a ZipThrifter Corner

Set aside a little spot in your shop just for ZipThrifter items — a shelf, a rack, a bin, a display case, a tagged corner, whatever fits how you already operate. Keeping listed inventory in one place means that when something sells, you know exactly where to grab it instead of playing hide-and-seek across the whole shop.

Pro tip: a dedicated “ZipThrifter pickup” bin behind the counter for sold items keeps things even smoother. Future-you will be very grateful. 🙏

How a Sale Works

Here's the whole song and dance, start to finish:

1. Someone buys it. A shopper purchases your item online and pays right then and there.
2. You get pinged. The sale pops up instantly in your Partner Dashboard under the “Just Sold” tab. Go grab the item and set it aside.
3. Customer shows up. They roll in with a QR code on their phone — their golden ticket.
4. Verify & hand it over. Scan the QR code to confirm, hand them their treasure, and bask in the glow of a sale well made. ✅

Heads up on timing: customers get 24 hours to pick up with no fee, a 10% restocking fee kicks in after that, and unclaimed orders auto-cancel after 3 days and pop right back into your inventory.

5

The Honesty Policy

Real talk: if an item sells on ZipThrifter, it's sold. Cancelling an online order because someone wandered in and waved cash at it? Not cool.

Our shoppers trust that what they buy will actually be waiting for them when they show up. Bailing on online orders breaks that trust — and repeatedly doing it is the fastest way to lose your spot on the platform. Keep it honest, keep it kind, and everybody wins. 🤝
